Growing up, Jen loved to flip through the pages of her mother’s enormous cookie cookbook. Not much has changed in the past couple of decades. Except now, Jen has her own kitchen with her own cookbooks to flip through.

A Mediocre Baker started as a way for Jen to teach herself baking fundamentals. There are so many professional bakers out there who already have the training and experience, but Jen is a mediocre girl learning from her mistakes one recipe at a time. And she’s here to share every step of the journey.
